Job Summary
Provide assistance with activities of daily living including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, and dressing. Escort residents and deliver emotional and social support while documenting daily logs and reporting resident issues to supervisors. Maintain resident confidentiality and encourage their independence and dignity. Work as part of a team to handle multiple tasks safely, make independent decisions in high-stress situations, and solve practical problems. Maintain a positive demeanor toward residents and co-workers. Requires at least one year of senior care experience, acceptable English proficiency, and potential CNA or CHHA licensure.
Required Qualifications
- at least one year of experience working in senior care
- Acceptable proficiency in English
- CNA or CHHA license depending on the state
- basic computer skills
