Job Summary
Deliver holistic, person-centred care addressing residents’ physical, psychological, and spiritual needs; work collaboratively with colleagues and families involved in resident care; monitor residents’ wellbeing and report changes to the Registered Nurse; maintain a safe clinical environment and escalate risks; use resources effectively, including equipment and supplies; adhere to policies and procedures including incident reporting and health and safety requirements; promote dignity, individuality, and confidentiality at all times; day shifts on a 40-bed unit with supervision by a Registered Nurse and a Clinical Nurse Manager; on-site support from a team of nurses and carers; full-time and part-time options with weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year’s experience as a Care/Healthcare Assistant in the UK (sponsorship not available)
- Professional, approachable, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of care practices, legislation, and regulatory standards
- Desire to mentor and support colleagues
- Committed to high standards of care and customer service
