Job Summary
Deliver hands-on, person-centred care to residents in line with agreed Care Plans, supporting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Contribute to daily resident records and promote safeguarding welfare for adults under your responsibility. Model best practice in care delivery and support the efficient running of the home through effective teamwork. Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of residents. Shift times are 19:45–08:00 with alternate weekend working. Hourly rate is £13.00.
Required Qualifications
- Care certificate of equivalent or a willingness to achieve this in the first 12 months of employment
- Evidence of good care practice knowledge relating to the care of older people
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the 6 principles of care and how they underpin the delivery of care in a residential/Nursing setting
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team
- Demonstrate self-motivation and confidence
- This position is subject to a DBS check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment is preferable
