Job Summary
Care Assistant needed for Home Instead in the Mendip Hills area (Frome, Midsomer Norton, Cheddar, Compton Bishop, and surroundings). Responsibilities include providing companionship and emotional support, preparing meals and helping with daily routines, assisting with medication and personal care, and supporting clients with conditions such as dementia or stroke recovery. Roles involve assisting with clinical needs (e.g., compression stockings, catheter care) and delivering care in clients’ homes. Benefits include weekly pay (£12.85–£13.50 per hour on weekends), travel time and mileage reimbursement, a Care Skills Academy for training and career progression, and wellbeing resources.
