Job Summary
Deliver hands-on, person-centred care to residents while supporting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in line with agreed care plans. Contribute to daily records and promote the welfare and safeguarding of adults under your responsibility. Model best practice and work efficiently within a close-knit team to ensure high-quality life for the population of Powys, Shropshire, and Gwynedd. Shift times are 0745–2000 with alternate weekend working, and a full-time contract includes an hourly rate of £13.00.
Required Qualifications
- Care certificate of equivalent or a willingness to achieve this in the first 12 months of employment
- Evidence of good care practice knowledge relating to the care of older people
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the 6 principles of care and how they underpin the delivery of care in a residential/Nursing setting
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team
- Demonstrate self-motivation and confidence
- This position is subject to a DBS check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment is preferable
