Job Summary
Provide a wide range of care and support to service users with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental health disorders, meeting assessed needs through goal setting and best practice. Carry out all shift patterns on a rota basis, including days, evenings, sleepovers, and wakened nightshifts, with the ability to travel within Fife. Maintain accurate records of outcomes-focused support planning, review care plans, and communicate changes in health and wellbeing across the team. Liaise with colleagues to ensure an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach while obtaining and maintaining SSSC registration within three months of starting.
Required Qualifications
- SSSC registration within 3 months of starting
- SSSC benchmark qualification for the role (SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 5 or social services children and young people SCQF)
- Continuous Professional Learning (CPL) for the role
- Annual declaration via MySSSC
- Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland
- Ability to travel within Fife
- Male gender (occupational requirement)
- Full time permanent contract availability
- Shift work availability including days, evenings, sleepovers, wakened nightshifts, and weekends
- Lone working capability
