Job Summary
Care Assistant needed to join Advantage Healthcare in Brighton, delivering care to a baby with an acquired brain injury. Responsibilities include following the care plan, medication administration, suctioning and gastrostomy care, under the supervision of a registered nurse. Part-time shifts on Friday and Saturday nights. Training provided with DBS paid for and opportunities for career progression within CCH. Friendly, supportive team environment with regular supervision and team meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a complex care setting (advantageous)
- Paediatric care
- Experience with suctioning
- Experience with PEG feeding and administering medication via PEG
- Be part of a care team delivering care to a baby with an acquired brain injury
