Job Summary
Care Assistant employed to join Advantage Healthcare within the Complex Care team in Peacehaven, providing overnight support for a child with complex care needs, including monitoring tracheostomy, suctioning, PEG feeding, and medication administration. Role involves full training and ongoing clinical support, with potential work in the Brighton area and similar clinical requirements, offering DBS coverage, paid induction, clear progression opportunities, and relocation within national opportunities; shifts include Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights (8 pm–8 am) with an emphasis on compassionate, resilient care and making a meaningful difference.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in caring for individuals with complex care needs
- Experience with PEG feeding, suctioning, and medication administration preferred but not always required
- Essential: previous experience in caring for service users with tracheostomies
