Job Summary
Deliver "hands on" care to residents in a person centred way, supporting them to enjoy a good quality of life while modelling best practice. Assist residents in all aspects of their physical, emotional, and spiritual care needs in line with agreed care plans and contribute to daily records. Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults under your care and contribute to effective teamwork by undertaking delegated tasks efficiently. Work in a team environment demonstrating self-motivation and confidence, with experience at the Care Assistant level preferable. This role offers a bank contract with an hourly rate of £12.71, alternate weekend working, and includes paid DBS, uniform, and training. Lovett Care provides a purposeful programme of daily activity and gentle exercise to enhance the wellbeing of residents.
Required Qualifications
- Care certificate of equivalent or a willingness to achieve this in the first 12 months of employment
- Evidence of good care practice knowledge relating to the care of older people
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the 6 principles of care and how they underpin the delivery of care in a residential/Nursing setting
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a team
- Demonstrate self-motivation and confidence
- This position is subject to a DBS check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment is preferable
