Job Summary
Support residents with daily living activities including toileting, bathing, and medication administration while maintaining high care standards. Answer nurse calls, doors, and telephones, then report client well-being to GPs and support managers. Carry out regular checks, deliver personal and psychological care, and complete required records and documentation. Assist junior staff members in all work aspects under senior supervision.

- Ability to ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting / assisting residents, when required, with all aspects of daily living
- Ability to support training and supervision of junior and new Staff Members in all aspects of their work in the Home, under the supervision of senior Staff Members
- Ability to answer Nurse Call system, give assistance as required, answer the door and telephone appropriately, respond accordingly and pass on messages promptly
- Ability to report on well-being of Clients and liaise with GPs and Support Managers etc
- Ability to carry out regular checks on Clients at intervals determined by senior Staff Members
- Ability to deliver a high level of personal and psychological care to all residents in a professional manner, arrange rotas to meet their care requirements e.g. medications; toileting; bathing; etc
- Ability to complete records where required to a satisfactory standard
- Ability to ensure the changeover and Keyworker documentation are fully completed within the timeframes agreed
