Job Summary
Provide personal care for elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons in home or facility settings, assisting patients with activities of daily living as directed by the nurse. Perform housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping services while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting changes in patient status. Ensure safety and infection control policies are followed effectively. Requires a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license upon hire and a driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Drivers License - Licensing Board
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Licensing Board
- High School or GED Equivalent
- Active license in the state of practice
- Less than 1 year in home health care or related health care field
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds
- Ability to work the hours specified
