Job Summary
Care Aide at Silverchain Group, working across Willetton/Fremantle and Bentley Social Centres on a casual basis. Delivering care and support to clients, including skin care, toileting and general hygiene, mobility assistance, feeding and meal preparation, respite, and assisting with medication. Role requires a full clean drivers license and comfort driving a van/bus to transport clients. Shifts expected Monday to Friday between 0800–1600 with flexibility to work at all three centres; some community-based care required. Includes orientation and training, health resources, insurance discounts, parental leave, and other benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC or Disability
- Experience delivering low, moderate and complex care, preferably within the community
- Fantastic interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work independently
- Solid working knowledge of the Wellness Approach (HACC) and understand the concept of early intervention and restorative care
- Satisfactory national Police Certificate (on commencement of employment and updated every three years per the Aged Care Act 1997)
- Current motor vehicle driver’s licence (with no restrictions) and access to a reliable registered motor vehicle with a minimum of third party insurance
