Job Summary
Perform adult echocardiography, pediatric echocardiography, structural heart procedures, and cardiac device procedures while managing high-volume scheduling and stress echo exams. Provide appropriate patient care, exercise professional judgment, and maintain a demeanor complimentary of medical ethics. Be scheduled on call to provide STAT services during off hours when the department is closed. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of accredited program
- Attain/maintain certifications/credentials from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing (CCI)
- CPR certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of adult stress echocardiography testing experience
- Proficient in patient preparation and electrode placement for 12-lead EKG monitoring
- Expertise in operating Quinton EKG treadmill stress systems
- Ability to manage high-volume scheduling
- Efficiency to perform multiple stress echo exams continuously
- Maintaining diagnostic standards
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus
- Exemption from vaccination requirement via signed statement certifying choice to be exempt
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of clinical experience
- Adult Echocardiography requires RDCS/RCS
- Vascular qualification requires RVT/RVS
- Pediatric qualification requires RDCS (PE)/congenital RCCS
- Dual-modality experience in vascular/pediatric ultrasound
