Job Summary
Cardiovascular Technologist RCIS needed to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab under physician supervision. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, monitor-tech duties, scrub/circulator support during procedures, patient transport, equipment troubleshooting, inventory management, and upholding sterile technique. Requires RCIS or ARRT/TX RT(R) with ACLS, and associate or higher degree in a science-focused healthcare field; ongoing certification requirements and demonstrating expertise in dysrhythmia interpretation, physiology monitoring, and procedural support.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certification (within six months of hire) or ARRT and TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS
Desired Qualifications
- RCIS certification
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- ARRT and TX RT(R) certification in lieu of RCIS
- current RCIS certification within six months of hire
- license and/or certifications as required/preferred
