Job Summary
Assist physicians with invasive cardiovascular procedures as a monitor, scrub, or circulator tech in the cath lab. Interpret dysrhythmias and EKGs, operate imaging equipment, and maintain sterile technique during patient prep and sheath removal. Monitor patient status, troubleshoot equipment, and manage cath lab inventory while teaching new staff. Work Monday through Friday on a 10X4 day shift at a Magnet-designated hospital serving the Dallas area.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- ARRT and TX RT(R)
- RCIS certified within six months of date of hire
