Job Summary
Cardiovascular Technologist position in a hospital Cath Lab environment. Responsible for equipment preparation before and during procedures, patient positioning and care, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting downtime tasks. Acts as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participates in orientation, and maintains strong collaboration with physicians and leadership to ensure high-quality patient care. Requires completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program or military program with ARRT eligibility and/or RCIS, BLS certification, ACLS within 6 months of hire, and successful Cath Lab RT orientation within 6 months. Salary ranges from $32.56 to $53.18 per hour plus various differentiations; comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities are offered. Location: Mount Ida, Arkansas.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of 24 month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with ARRT eligibility and/or current RCIS
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained thru duration of employment
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
- Registered and/or RCIS
- Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred
