Job Summary
Perform diagnostic tests including ECG/EKG, Holter monitoring, and stress testing. Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and angioplasty procedures while monitoring patient vital signs before, during, and after care. Operate and maintain cardiovascular equipment, prepare patients, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety. Maintain accurate patient records and test results. Requires BLS/AED/ACLS training from the American Heart Association; no online programs accepted. Salary range $49.91 - $57.74 per hour. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited Radiological, Cardiovascular and/or Respiratory care program
- Experience with scrubbing into and assisting physicians with vascular procedures
- BLS/AED/ACLS training from the American Heart Association
- Independent individual
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of EPIC Electronic Medical Record
- Knowledge of radiology scheduling
- Knowledge of insurance authorization
