Job Summary
Conduct cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedures, and stent deployments under physician supervision. Perform diagnostic studies including IVUS/FFR, stress testing, and nuclear medicine imaging. Assist with therapeutic interventions such as intra-aortic balloon pump insertion and transcutaneous pacemaker wire placement. Operate state-of-the-art equipment in a recently renovated cardiovascular lab at a teaching hospital trauma center. Work full-time day shifts with occasional weekend and evening calls.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an AMA School of Radiology Program
- ARRT (R)
- CPR
- ACLS
- Authorization to Work in the United States
- Full Time (40 hours)
- Day shift
- 7:30am - 6:00pm
- 10-hour shifts
- 1-2 calls in a week (6:00pm-7:30am)
- One weekend call per month (7:00am - 7:30am)
- Assist physicians with the performance of cardiac cath and electrophysiology related procedures
- Assist with IVUS/FFR studies
- Assist in Stress Testing procedures
- Assist with Nuclear Medicine studies
