Job Summary
Assist physicians with cardiac cath and electrophysiology procedures, including diagnostic and therapeutic studies such as stent deployment, intra-aortic balloon pump insertion, and transcutaneous pacemaker wire placement. Support IVUS/FFR studies, stress testing, and nuclear medicine examinations. Perform duties during day shifts from 7:30am to 6:00pm, with occasional 10-hour shifts, one weekend call per month, and 1-2 calls weekly from 6:00pm to 7:30am. Requires AMA School of Radiology Program completion, ARRT certification, and ACLS within one year of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an AMA School of Radiology Program
- ARRT (R)
- CPR
- ACLS
- Authorization to Work in the United States
- Full Time (40 hours)
- Day shift
- 7:30am - 6:00pm
- 10-hour shifts
- 1-2 calls in a week (6:00pm-7:30am)
- One weekend call per month (7:00am - 7:30am)
- Assist physicians with the performance of cardiac cath and electrophysiology related procedures including diagnostic studies and therapeutic procedures including Cardiac Cath (Right and Left heart cath), stent deployment for heart attack patients, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Insertion, Transcutaneous Pacemaker Wire placement
- Assist with IVUS/FFR studies
- Assist in Stress Testing procedures
- Assist in Nuclear Medicine studies
