Job Summary
Perform scrub duties for cardiac interventions, left and right heart catheterizations, and peripheral diagnostics with minimal assistance. Set up back tables, monitor procedures, document hemodynamics in MacLab, and maintain ECG and waveform monitoring equipment. Assist in room preparation, ensure adequate supplies, transport patients, and perform required safety checks. Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications, work rotating shifts, and handle physical demands including lifting and working in confined spaces.
Required Qualifications
- RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or RT(R)CI certification
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification
- South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Act (SCRQSA) licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program
- Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- One year of experience
- Telemetry experience
- Arterial and Venous Sheath Removal experience
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to lift/lower objects 50 lbs. from/to floor from/to 36 inches unassisted
- Ability to lift from 36" to overhead 25 lbs.
- Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force
- 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes
- Ability to match or discriminate between colors
- Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception
- Good peripheral vision capabilities
- Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction
- Ability to deal effectively with stressful situations
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Ability to work in a latex safe environment
- Ability to maintain tactile sensory functions
- Ability to maintain good olfactory sensory function
- Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use
