Cardiovascular Technologist needed for UF Health Cardiac Cath Lab in Gainesville. Responsible for assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures (e.g., coronary angiography, PCI) in a high-acuity cath lab, preparing rooms, ensuring equipment availability, maintaining sterile technique and infection prevention, operating cath lab imaging/monitoring equipment, recording and interpreting hemodynamic data and ECG tracings, managing vascular access and sheath removal, and providing compassionate patient-centered care across pre-, intra-, and post-procedural phases. Will monitor for distress or complications, collaborate with physicians and nurses, ensure timely documentation in the EMR, maintain ALARA radiation safety practices, participate in QA and equipment troubleshooting, support efficient case starts and room turnover, and assist with training and ongoing education within a teaching-oriented environment in Gainesville.
