Job Summary
Assist cardiologists and radiologists in diagnostic and interventional procedures across the Catheterization Laboratory, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology Lab. Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients during invasive cardiovascular procedures, including angiograms with stent placement, pacemaker or defibrillator implants, nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation, and port placement. Operate within five procedural rooms Monday through Friday from 0600 to 1730, working 10-hour day shifts. Cover off-hours, overnight, and weekend cases as part of a call rotation. Maintain ARRT or RCIS registry certification and complete ACLS training within six months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program
- ARRT Registry (or registry eligible) and State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or registry eligible) and State Certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS)
- ACLS within 6 months of hire
- Mandatory AIDS education
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of related clinical experience
- Previous cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology/electrophysiology experience
