Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the Catheterization Laboratory, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology Lab. Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients during angiograms, stent placements, pacemaker/defibrillator implants, nephrostomies, vertebral augmentation, and port placements. Cover off-hours overnight and weekend shifts as part of the call rotation. Requires ARRT or RCIS registry certification, state certification, and ACLS within six months of hire. Full-time 40-hour schedule with four 10-hour day shifts per week. Overlake Medical Center, a nonprofit regional trauma center, provides award-winning patient-centered care to the Puget Sound region.
Required Qualifications
- AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program
- ARRT Registry (or registry eligible)
- State Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT)
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) (or registry eligible)
- State Certification as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (IS)
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- Mandatory AIDS education
- COVID-19 immunization proof
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of related clinical experience
- Previous cardiac cath lab/interventional radiology/electrophysiology experience
- 24 CME credits
