Job Summary
Prepare patients and procedure rooms for cardiac catheterization lab cases; operate and assist with imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment; maintain sterile technique; collaborate with physicians and nurses to obtain high-quality diagnostic images and accurate hemodynamic data; verify patient information and consent; assist with vascular access, device preparation, and post-procedure transfer and documentation; ensure equipment readiness, safety, and compliance with UF Health protocols; maintain and record procedural data and participate in quality improvement and continuing education in a fast-paced cath lab environment.
Required Qualifications
- associate degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or related allied health field; appropriate certifications and licensure per Florida and UF Health standards
