Job Summary
Assists in performing all duties associated with preparing, performing, and completing diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology while responsible for all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital policies. Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves while fostering teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in job duties. Part-time Monday-Friday schedule (6:45am-5:15pm, days vary with late shifts) with on-call availability. Requires ARRT certification and Florida Radiology license; cardiovascular/interventional radiology certification preferred. ACLS and BLS required upon hire. Organized, efficient, and capable of working independently with excellent interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- Florida license in Radiology
- ARRT with state license or graduate of approved cardiovascular technology program
- Two years Radiographer experience
- Cardiac Cath lab or Interventional Radiology experience
- ACLS & BLS
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program or cardiovascular technology program
- Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology certification (CV, VI, CI)
- Organized, efficient, and multifunctional
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication
- Ability to work varied hours and shift lengths
- On call may be required for work area
