Job Summary
Assists in preparing, performing and completing diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedures under the supervision of a physician. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Responsible for all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital and department policies and procedures. Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves. Fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in job duties.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification required to work in Radiology department
- Florida license in Radiology required to work in Radiology Department
- Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology certification preferred (CV, VI, CI)
- ARRT with state license or graduate of approved cardiovascular technology program required to work in the Cardiac Cath/EP lab
- ACLS & BLS required upon hire
- Two years Radiographer experience preferred
- Cardiac Cath lab or Interventional Radiology experience preferred
