Job Summary
Monitor diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies and work as a scrub assistant in the Cath Lab under the direction of the director or charge person. Ensure safe patient care while performing all procedures. Maintain a valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license with ARRT certification, or a Registered Respiratory Therapist license with ARRT certification, along with BLS and ACLS. Obtain RCIS or RCES certification within 12 months of hire if lacking the required degree. Read, write, speak, and understand English.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
- minimum of five (5) years's experience AND Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)
- FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)
- BLS
- ACLS
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
