Cardiovascular Technologist (Cath Lab) - PRN

Assists the physician in managing diagnostic and interventional procedures by scrubbing and managing the sterile field and by monitoring and reporting hemodynamic data. Performing X-ray duties, routine or delegated, according to the standards and policies of the Cardiac Catheterization. Receives direction from: Cardiologists, Cath Lab Manager, Anesthesia, RN Circulator Laboratory. Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and apply knowledge of Cath Lab procedures and cardiovascular anatomy. Works in a temperature-controlled environment with potential exposure to chemicals and bloodborne pathogens. Must be able to lift 50 pounds with proper technique several times per shift. Pre-employment screening includes criminal background check, drug screening, and health/immunizations screening.
