Job Summary
Assist in preparing, performing, and completing diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision. Operate equipment for TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO closure, atherectomy, thrombectomy, IVUS, FFR, iFR, IABP, and Impella while adhering to hospital policies and safety guidelines. Foster teamwork through effective communication and flexibility. Requires ACLS and BLS certification; CVT or RTR license with RCIS obtained within six months. Two years of cath or EP experience preferred. Work varied Monday-Friday shifts (6:45am-5:15pm) as PRN/part-time with on-call rotation. Must reside within 30 minutes of campus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited cardiovascular program or radiology program with cardiac experience
- Two years in either Cath or EP
- Ability to work varied hours and shifts
- Must obtain RCIS within six months of hire
- RCES is required after 2 years of EP experience
- Must live within 30 minutes of campus
Desired Qualifications
- Cath lab or EP lab experience
- 2-3 years of experience
- Organized, efficient, team-based attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to demonstrate effective communication
