Job Summary
Cardiovascular Technologist is a per diem (FTE .01) role in the Cath Lab, providing direct patient care under the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP RN, assisting during diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures, maintaining a safe procedure environment, and handling Cath Lab documentation. The position requires RCIS or equivalent radiologic/ cardiovascular invasive certification within specified timelines and current CPR certifications (AHA BLS/ACLS). Schedule is 10-hour days with on-call requirements (one weeknight and one weekend per month).
Required Qualifications
- Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification or as a cardiovascular invasive specialist or currently enrolled in second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program or Radiologic Technologist program RCIS or commitment to obtain within 6 months of employment
- Current AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire
- RCIS or Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification within 2 years of employment
