Job Summary
Assist the physician in diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures by scrubbing and maintaining the sterile field, and by monitoring and reporting hemodynamic data. Perform X-ray duties as delegated, following policies of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Receive direction from cardiologists, Cath Lab Manager, Anesthesia, and RN circulator. Requires 2+ years cath lab experience or cardiovascular program graduate; current BLS; RCIS preferred; ACLS recommended. Strong communication, cardiovascular knowledge, and ability to manage electronic files and adapt to a temperature-controlled environment. Pre-employment screening is required (background check, drug screening, health and immunizations). On-site Great Falls, MT facility with equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years Cath Lab experience or graduate of a cardiovascular program, required
- Current BLS Certification, required
- Current RCIS Registration, preferred
- ACLS Certification, recommended
- Knowledge of Cath Lab procedures and cardiovascular anatomy
- Ability to lift 50 pounds several times per shift
