Job Summary
Monitor diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensure safe patient care, and function as a scrub assistant under the direction of the director or charge person. This part-time Cardiovascular Technologist role requires an Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular, Radiologic, or Respiratory Technology, or five years of experience in lieu of a degree. Candidates must hold a valid FL Certified Radiologic Technologist or FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with ARRT certification, along with BLS and ACLS certification. RCIS or RCES certification is required within 12 months of hire. Fluency in English is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Cardiovascular Technology
- Radiologic Technology
- Respiratory Therapy
- minimum of five (5) years experience
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification
- FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
- FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license
- BLS
- ACLS
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
