Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Technologist provides technical support during diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology. Under the direction of the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Registered Nurse, they perform direct patient care, maintain a clean and safe procedure room, handle Cath Lab documentation, and assemble/disassemble/operate specialty equipment to support patient comfort and safety during cardiovascular procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification or as a cardiovascular invasive specialist or currently enrolled in second year of an Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist program or Radiologic Technologist program
- RCIS or commitment to obtain within 6 months of employment
- Current AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR certifications at time of hire; CapMC Locations: RCIS or Cardiac Interventional Radiography certification within 2 years of employment
