Cardiovascular Technician/EKG Tech - Per diem

Perform all non-invasive testing in the Cardiology Department, including Electrocardiograms, Cardiac Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring, and Electroencephalograms. Review patient medical records, explain procedures, and apply electrodes to record wave tracings for cardiac diagnosis. Set up and operate treadmill procedures for stress testing, while scanning and reporting Holter findings to physicians. Manage clerical duties such as filing, maintaining records, answering phones, and verifying insurance coverage. Log procedures, book appointments, and submit data changes to the Billing Department. Maintain departmental policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols while attending required seminars and meetings. Work a rotating per diem schedule at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Northampton, MA, within the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit.
