Cardiovascular Tech

Cardiovascular Tech role providing diagnostic and interventional support in UF Health’s cardiovascular service line. Responsibilities include preparing patients for cardiovascular procedures, explaining tests, operating and troubleshooting EKG machines, ultrasound and stress testing equipment, following physician orders, documenting procedures in the EHR, and upholding infection control and radiation safety. Collaboration with cardiologists, nurses, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate testing, timely results, and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Opportunities to expand skills through exposure to cardiac and vascular conditions, with a focus on patient experience, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
