Job Summary
Cardiovascular Tech RCIS Part Time position in the cath lab. Primary responsibilities include assisting with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision, operating imaging equipment, monitoring patient status, and providing scrub and circulator support. Responsibilities include teaching/orientation of staff, assisting with transport and sterile prep, inventory control, and post-procedure care. Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience; certifications include ACLS and RCIS (or ARRT TX RT[R] in lieu of RCIS) with RCIS certification due within 18 months. Candidate demonstrates knowledge of medications and dosages, sterile technique, and ability to troubleshoot equipment. Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certified within eighteen (18) months of date of hire OR ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
