Job Summary
Assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under physician direction, including interpreting dysrhythmias, operating physiologic recorders, and managing imaging equipment as a monitor, scrub, or circulator tech. Prepare the cath lab and patient for procedures, maintain sterile technique, and perform post-procedure safety tasks such as sheath removal and hemostasis monitoring. Transport patients, clean and stock the lab, order supplies, and troubleshoot equipment issues while demonstrating knowledge of medications and dosages. Work Monday through Friday from 0700 to 1730 in a Magnet-designated, award-winning hospital serving the Dallas and Collin counties area.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- ARRT and TX RT(R)
- RCIS certified within six months of date of hire
