Job Summary
Assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under physician direction, including monitoring patients during cath lab procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining sterile technique. Interpret dysrhythmias and EKGs, manage arterial and venous sheaths, and ensure hemostasis post-procedure. Support the team by teaching students, preparing patients, stocking supplies, and troubleshooting equipment. Transport patients to and from the department while demonstrating knowledge of medications and dosages. Work Monday through Friday on a 10X4 day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- ARRT and TX RT(R)
- RCIS certified within six months of date of hire
