Job Summary
Cardiovascular Tech RCIS responsible for assisting with invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab under supervisor/physician. Provides monitor tech support during procedures, operates imaging equipment, serves as scrub tech and circulator as directed, assists with patient transport, maintains sterile technique, inventories and prepares supplies, and demonstrates knowledge of medications and dosages. Requires RCIS or ARRT/TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS, and AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification; degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree (science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience)
- Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certification within six months of date of hire OR ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
- Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)
