Job Summary
Cardiovascular Tech RCIS for full-time Day shifts in the Cardiac Cath Lab. Primary duties include assisting with invasive cardiovascular procedures under supervision, operating imaging equipment, serving as a scrub tech and circulator, monitoring patient status, transporting patients, maintaining sterile technique, inventory control, preparing patients and equipment for procedures, and troubleshooting equipment. Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in a science-focused area (or commensurate healthcare experience), current ACLS, RCIS certification within six months of hire (or ARRT/TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS), and relevant licensure/certifications; proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation, EKGs, and use of physiologic recording equipment; ability to assist with teaching and orientation of staff and students.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certification or ARRT and TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS
- Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)
