Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS will assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab under supervision, including operating imaging equipment, acting as scrub tech and circulator, monitoring patient status, assisting with sample transport and procedure prep, maintaining sterile technique, and managing supplies; requires RCIS or eligibility, AHA ACLS, and applicable licensure (TX RT(R) or ARRT) with associated degree in science or healthcare experience, in a full-time day shift at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX. Responsibilities include teaching/new staff orientation, monitoring dysrhythmia and EKGs, handling equipment, and ensuring patient safety and procedural readiness; includes sign-on bonus and rotating call.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certified within six months of date of hire
- ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
