Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS will assist with the technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab under supervision, including operating imaging equipment, assisting as a scrub tech and circulator, and supporting patient transport and preparation. Responsibilities include teaching and orienting staff, interpreting basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs, ensuring sterile technique, stocking and ordering supplies, and post-procedure safety such as sheath removal and hemostasis. Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience, and certifications including AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support; RCIS certification within six months of hire; ARRT and TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS.

- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certified within six months of date of hire
- ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
