Job Summary
Assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures and support cath-lab operations under supervision. Perform monitor tech duties, act as scrub tech and circulator, operate imaging equipment, and interpret basic/advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs. Facilitate patient transport, sterile preparation, supply inventory, and post-procedure safety. Provide teaching/orientation support to students and new staff. Requires AHA ACLS, RCIS (within six months) or ARRT/TX RT(R), and an Associate or Bachelor’s degree or commensurate healthcare experience. Based at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center (Mansfield, TX).
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certification within six months of date of hire OR ARRT and TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS
