Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS will assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab under supervision, perform scrub and circulator duties, operate imaging equipment, monitor patient status and EKG/dysrhythmia interpretations, assist with patient transport and lab setup, and manage supplies. Requires RCIS or ARRT/TX RT(R) credentials with AHA ACLS, and an associate or bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare-related experience. Responsibilities include teaching staff, assisting physicians during procedures, ensuring sterile technique, preparing patients, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining cath lab inventory.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
- RCIS certified within six months of date of hire OR ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS
- Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)
