Job Summary
Assist the surgeon during operative procedures by providing technical support for exposure, hemostasis, and wound closure while maintaining acute awareness of the surgical field and patient safety. Collaborate closely with the surgical team, circulating nurse, and designated Team Leader to perform assigned tasks under the guidance of the operating surgeon. Requires Certified Surgical Assistant program completion, CSTFA National Certification, and AHA BCLS. Includes days with call.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changes in health care technology
