Job Summary
Precept new staff and students while mastering hemodynamics concepts and troubleshooting x-ray equipment. Assist with circulating roles, manage supply inventory, and monitor cases under emergency situations. Collaborate with physicians on high-risk procedures, including complex PCI, CTO, and structural heart cases, while adhering to sterile technique and radiation safety protocols. Troubleshoot emergency equipment such as balloon pumps and ventricular assist devices. Cross-train to support departmental needs and communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed AEMT
- National Registered Paramedic (NRP)
- graduate of accredited school of radiologic technology
- accredited school of cardiovascular technology
- academic program in health sciences
- Must become registered as an ARRT with post primary category of cardiac interventional radiography or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES obtained within 12 months of hire or promotion as a condition of continued employment
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: Registered as ARRT with CI credential or RCIS or RCES
