Job Summary
Cardiovascular Sonographer Traveler needed in Colorado for UCHealth with a 0.9 FTE (72 hours per pay period) full-time traveler contract option. The role performs top-of-scope ultrasound procedures in echocardiography and vascular imaging, educates patients about procedures and equipment, prepares/administrates contrast media when within scope, monitors patient status, sets imaging parameters, ensures safety and quality control of equipment, troubleshoots equipment, and contributes to a multidisciplinary team while precepting those new to imaging. The position offers a travel package and 13-week assignment options, with minimum requirements including ARDMS/CCI credentials and BLS, and requires licensure if mandated. Salary is $60 per hour plus travel package, with benefits typical of UCHealth employment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
- 1 adult echo and 1 vascular credential from ARDMS: RDCS - Adult; RVT
- CC I: RCS, RVS, RCCS, ACS
- State licensure if required by law
- BLS - CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card valid through start date
