Cardiovascular Sonographer (Echo) 2

Administer sound patient care practices according to hospital policies and procedures. Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient departmental operations. Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition. Demonstrate proper technique for IV contrast injection under Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Standards. Correctly identify patients and orders to ensure accuracy. Maintain active credential status by complying with continual education requirements and attending at least 50 percent of QA conferences. Demonstrate patient safety using side rails, braking mechanisms, and patient monitoring. Troubleshoot equipment effectively and report issues to biomedical engineering or vendors. Perform routine maintenance of echo vascular equipment for consistent image quality. Schedule is PRN with 10-hour shifts.
