Job Summary
Categorize, code, summarize, interpret, and calculate registry and case information from patient medical records while ensuring high-accuracy data submission to specified registries. Prioritize multiple concurrent tasks and team requests, managing expectations and flagging obstacles to meet tight deadlines. Navigate electronic medical records and registry entry tools, troubleshooting technical issues and contributing to data dictionaries and abstraction guidelines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mandated regulatory requirements from federal, state, payer, and other agencies. Must possess at least one year of NCDR/ACC abstraction experience in LAAO, TVT, CathPCI, Chest Pain/MI, Afib Ablation, or EP Device areas, with exposure to multiple EMRs and clinical databases. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Excel and strong analytical skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of NCDR/ACC abstraction experience
- LAAO, TVT, CathPCI, Chest Pain/MI, Afib Ablation, and/or EP Device
- Exposure to patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases
