Job Summary

Perform a variety of technical and patient-oriented duties during cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheterization, pacemaker insertions, arteriograms, venograms, digital subtractions, vascular studies, nephrostograms, angioplasty, and other related studies. Operate monitoring equipment, surgical instruments, cardiac output machines, pulse oximeters, ECG machines, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and cine film processors. Execute invasive procedures, perform ECGs, monitor patients during procedures, and prepare test results and data for review. Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient management according to Lab guidelines. Requires current radiologic technologist licensure in Maryland, ARRT registry, CPR certification, and ACLS certification. Salary range is $42.33 to $69.88 per hour.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Current radiologic technologist licensure in the State of Maryland
  • Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Current CPR certification
  • IV certification by HCGH within ninety (90) days of hire date
  • Authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship required)

Desired Qualifications

  • One (1) year of cardiovascular lab experience
  • ACLS certification
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Certified Interventional Technologist (CIT)
